HRVST is helmed by partner head chefs, Addis Tan and Dylan Choong, who have between them close to 20 years of experience of working in many kitchens, most recently in Tippling Club, Esquina, and Cheek by Jowl.

Over the years, they have explored with different types of cuisines, always looking for new inspiration and motivation to continue on their chef journey. Living a life of work and pleasure centered around food, something was always niggling at them.

Being vegetarian and surrounded by vegans in the family, Addis and Dylan witnessed first hand how "less than" choices seem to be when one doesn't eat meat. Your food is always ah-mazing at home, but when you're out with friends, you go where the meat-eaters go, because why should they follow your lead? "You're vegan."

Eating out is a social activity, and just because "you're vegan" doesn't mean you don't get to have fun.  Addis and Dylan decided to reverse the social stigma of being a vegan and focused on making vegan food cool, and good looking. That vegetarians and vegans can take their friends and family to HRVST, and have meat-eaters be surprised at what plants can do. 

HRVST welcomes you, whether you're vegan once a week, everyday or even if you're just testing the waters. Our philosophy is to make the alternative commonplace, to do our part, one part-time vegan at a time.

Please note that our Brunch items are different from our regular menu. Our regular menu is available only for lunch and dinner, Mondays through Fridays.
